23. Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation:
    Letter #1 – Written by someone that works at a school, such as a principal, teacher or counselor.
    Letter #2 – Written by someone who works in the community.
    Letters of recommendation may not be from parents or relatives.

36. Applicants must also be available for an interview. If you are not available or fail to appear for the interview, you will automatically be disqualified from the process. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact us. If you are selected by the scholarship committee you are required to complete 40 hours of community service.
